🗺️ Our Story: The Remnant Journey
🏡 2020: The Backyard Mandate
Remnant Church began in the heart of the 2020 lockdown during a weekly Saturday night Bible study in Pastor Stacey’s home in Clermont, FL. Sitting in her backyard amidst global isolation, God imparted a clear, sovereign mandate to her spirit: “Will you launch a church for Me?”
The hands of God went to work immediately, opening door after door to turn that mandate into a reality. We still celebrate the incredible food, fellowship, and lifelines of hope shared during those intentional times of recovery from Covid isolation.
🪵 2021: Laying the Foundation
In October 2021, we formally launched our church family in Winter Garden, FL. Though our hearts had initially searched throughout the entire Apopka territory, God had an alternate, strategic purpose for us first—a season of deep preparation and laying a foundation of prayer.
We stepped out in faith, meeting on Sundays at the Winter Garden Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1146 East Plant Street. We established a robust schedule of Sunday School, Morning Worship, and Evening Worship, constantly holding fast to the promise that God would eventually open the gates to our ultimate destination.
🏛️ 2026: The Atmosphere Shifts over Apopka
For five years, one of Pastor Stacey’s primary prayers for the territory was: “Lord, go back to the original foundation of this city. Change what needs to be changed, and move what needs to be moved so that true revival can come.”
In 2026, the spiritual atmosphere violently shifted. Local ministries began reaching out about facility availability, leading Pastor Stacey into active negotiations. When the Church of the Holy Spirit reached out about a building rental, she knew it was the appointed place. Upon arriving in the parking lot, she met a church leader who revealed that the chapel was the second oldest building in the city. God had supernaturally synchronized her five-year prayer with the literal, historical foundation of Apopka.
🚀 Remnant on the Pavement: Our Ministries
In June 2026, we officially began meeting in the oldest chapel in Apopka, FL (Sundays: Worship at 2:00 PM / Sunday School at 4:00 PM). Mission accomplished and prayer answered! Hallelujah God!!! It has been one open door after another ever since.
We do not just stay within the four walls of the chapel; we are actively taking the love and kindness of Jesus straight to the pavement through targeted local reaches:
🏥 Solaris Healthcare Partnership: Remnant Church has built a beautiful connection with the staff and families at Solaris Healthcare Apopka. We are honored to host Sunday Morning Church at 10:00 AM with the residents, and Pastor Stacey leads a dedicated Bible study for memory care patients every Monday morning at 10:00 AM.
🍩 The Sweet Delivery Co.: This special ministry drops "God surprises" across our community once a month, hand-delivering custom boxes of sweetness to local business owners, first responders, and community leaders. We believe in showing deep honor and respect to the people who make Apopka a vibrant place to live, work, and worship.
🌭 The Holy Hot Dog Co.: Focused entirely on being the hands and feet of Jesus to passersby, this street-level outreach blesses everyday people once a month with free hotdogs, cold water, and the amazing love of Christ.
